Madonna has made peace with a neighbour who said the superstar made noise by using her New York City apartment as a rehearsal studio, lawyers involved in the matter said.

Court records showed Karen George’s lawsuit against the singer and their building was settled as of yesterday.

Lawyers for Madonna and the building’s co-op board would say only the matter was resolved.

Ms George, whose apartment is upstairs from Madonna’s in a building overlooking Central Park, had said the dance and exercise routines subjected neighbours to “blaring music, stomping and shaking walls” for up to three hours a day.

Ms George was driven from her apartment at times by the “unbearable” noise and vibrations, according to her lawsuit, filed in 2009. It sought unspecified damages.

Madonna took steps to dampen the sound in 2009, but Ms George said they did not work, according to an August court ruling that turned down the singer’s effort to dismiss the lawsuit.

Ms George had said the building board acknowledged her complaints but ultimately did not crack down because it did not want trouble with Madonna.

Madonna and the board had said the noise never topped legal levels. The singer also said this March she had built a studio elsewhere and was not using the apartment for musical moves anymore.

Actress Crissy Rock jumped for joy as she was booted out of the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ jungle.

The 53-year-old was ejected from the reality contest after polling the fewest public votes.

She said she had “the best laugh of my life” during her 19-day spell in the Australian jungle.

When presenters Ant and Dec told her the news, she jumped in the air and told former racing champ Willie Carson: “I am going home Willie. I am going to have a bacon and egg for you.”

The Scouser, who played brassy hotel manager Janey York in ITV comedy ‘Benidorm’, shouted “freedom” as she ran away from the camp.

She admitted that she was sad that her dreams of becoming Queen of the Jungle had been dashed, adding: “I have had a lovely time, the pinnacle was Peter Andre.”

Andre made a guest appearance in the camp yesterday, much to the delight of Rock and Fatima Whitbread.

“I have had the best laugh of my life,” she said.

“And it is sad that it is over but it was not meant to be.”

She said she wanted Carson or Whitbread to win the reality show.

Referring to Carson, she said: “He has been an absolute sport. He is brilliant.

“From day one he has wanted to go home and he is still in the running. It is either Willie or Fatima I would want to win.”

Earlier, Carson was seething after he found out he was forced to sleep in a rat-infested cave due to two of his campmates horsing around.

The 69-year-old lost his rag in a furious outburst when he discovered Antony Cotton and Dougie Poynter had been stealing from the other contestants.

The duo had been put up to it by producers as part of a task to win luxuries for the rest of the camp.

But their pleas and apologies went unheeded by Carson who labelled them “thieves” in a foul-mouthed rant.

Their behaviour – pinching belongings and towels – led to the former jockey and Rock being sent off to spend the night with rats after they failed to identify the traitors in the camp.

As he arrived back in camp, he stormed: “You don’t steal, you don’t lie. I’m seething, annoyed, these thieves get away with it and we do the time.

“I’m so f***ing angry. If it was just me, I’d have given you a thump and laughed about it. It’s turned nasty, condoning stealing, you can’t do this, condoning thieving – and how can this look good?”

The duo tried to explain they were aiming to win goodies, but Carson ranted on: “What you are doing to all the kids in England is condoning stealing. You don’t steal, you don’t lie, even in a game show. It is selfishness and I can’t condone it.”

McFly star Poynter admitted he felt “awful” about their exploits.

He was also chosen to take on the latest bushtucker trial to celebrate his 24th birthday and realised he had to do well to change the mood of the contestants on the ITV1 show.

The chart star had to put his head into a number of boxes containing stick insects, snakes, cockroaches, rats and giant spiders but managed to collect a full set of stars.

His success lightened the mood but the smell of the creatures prompted him to have a thorough cleansing.

“I’ve gone four days without washing but the smell was so bad I’ll have to now wash,” he said.

Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards is dating One Direction’s Zayn Malik, it has emerged.

The pair met when the ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ band performed on ‘The X Factor’ last month, and were reportedly spotted getting cosy once again when One Direction returned to the ITV1 show – which they finished third on last year – to film the charity single video at the weekend.

However, this could be set to cause friction within the One Direction camp, as Malik’s bandmate Niall Horan was said to be “obsessed” with the blonde beauty also.

An insider said: “Zayn has got in there first but Niall is obsessed with her too. They met her on the video shoot and have both been trying to win her over.”

Edwards – who is joined in Little Mix by Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – and Malik are hoping to keep their fledging romance as quiet as possible until ‘The X Factor’ draws to a close on December 11.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: “They plan to come out as a couple after ‘The X Factor’ has finished.”

While Malik has dated ‘X Factor’ runner-up Rebecca Ferguson and Geneva Lane – a member of last year’s girl band Belle Amie – in the past, Edwards split up with her boyfriend just after ‘The X Factor’ began.

She told LOOK magazine: “I broke up with my boyfriend after ‘The X Factor’ started. I think I did the right thing.”
