Big thick speaker cable DOES make a big difference. For the price, you can’t get better stuff than Monster Standard THX-Certified Speaker Cable.

I picked this speaker cable up for around $30. I compared similar items at Circuit City and Best Buy and this was a great deal, given other comparable cable offerings were double to triple the price. I’m not a sound engineer but would consider myself an experienced listener of music and also an amatuer musician. The sound quality over this cable is excellent and it’s hard to imagine getting better sound with a more expensive cable. I am running mid-level speakers and amp and am very pleased with the sound.
